Operating cost can range from $1 per hour for small electric trucks and over $20 per hour for larger internal combustion trucks. For those on a budget, buying a used forklift can be an option. Prices for used forklifts are usually 40-50% lower than the new ones. They are rated based on the overall condition, the brand, and hours of use.

Prices of New York forklifts are decided primarily on its capacity and reliability. Obviously, the greater the capacity, the costlier New York Forklifts is going to be. Forklifts that are commonly sold in the market usually have 3,000, 5,000, and 8,000-pound capacities and prices for brand new models range from $15,000 to $30,000. Take note that this price range is for standard sizes. 

Used New York Forklifts are usually half the price of a new forklift. In terms of maintenance cost, however, that of used forklifts are greater than the new one. Price also varies depending on the fuel type. Electric forklift, with its perceived sophistication and productivity, it is more expensive than the gas-powered model.
