North Dakota has the third largest land area dedicated to farming in America. Around 90% or 28,000 acres of land are utilized for growing crops. It is ranked 9th and 18th in terms of value of crops and agricultural product receipts, respectively.

The energy sector is also fueling the economic growth of North Dakota. In fact, the state was able to withstand the negative impact of the Great Recession in the early 21st century due to large extraction of oil from the Bakken formation. It created jobs for many and has boosted the growth of population due to migration.

North Dakota also has abundant coal and oil reserves. The state generates about 90% of electricity from lignite coal reserves. Some of which are exported to neighboring countries. North Dakota is weak in tourism and is named as the least visited state. Aside from the Theodore Reoosevelt National Park, there is no other major tourist attraction.

The costliest type is the rough terrain forklift which is being sold for over $100,000 while the narrow aisle is the cheapest at about $10,000 tag price.
