Another valuable crop that comprises about 9% of the state’s agricultural output is corn. The state also raises livestock, including sheep, calves, hogs and cattle. Kansas also leads the nation in the production of beef while the dairy sector is fast catching up. Livestock contributes about 60% of the total agricultural output of Kansas.

The two other key economic players in Kansas are the manufacturing and services sectors. Kansas is well known as a manufacturing hub for industrial and computer machinery, as well as transportation equipment. It is also America’s production center of commercial and private aircraft.

In fact, large aircraft firms have set up various manufacturing facilities here, including Spirit AeroSystems, Hawker Beechcraft, and Learjet. In terms of production of natural gas, Kansas is ranked 8th in the U.S. Its output, however, has seen a declining trend since the mid-1990s on gradual depletion of Hugoton Natural Gas Field, the largest oil field in Kansas.

Estimating Prices of Kansas Forklifts

Estimating how much Kansas forklifts cost is a daunting task as there are many factors to consider, including size, shape and engine type. Adding to the complexity are the various levels of Kansas forklifts brands to choose from, namely the value, mid-market and the premium.

There are however blurred lines in defining them already as the lower end players have learned to improve their products while the premium ones are offering discounted purchase price, probably to cash in on damage or components to fork out later on. A premium Kansas Forklifts brand may cost 5% more than a mid-market brand, while the latter may command a 10% higher price tag than the value brands.

Premium Kansas Forklifts brands include Toyota, Atlet, Still, Komatsu, Linde, Cesab, and a few others. They claim of having higher productivity levels and lower overall costs due to their perceived superiority and competence. Mid-market brands are the Hyundai, TCM, Mitsubishi, and Cat while the value ones are Samuk, Puma, Heili, Goodsensem Nexen, and Artison.

The value brands have more simple designs and low repair cost. They are however less intricate and have a shorter longevity. The mid-market brands, on the other hand, aim to strike the balance between quality and cost. A 2.5-ton mid-market brand may cost anywhere from $20,000-$24,000.
